Nike Football: Believe feat. Kylian Mbappe

For the 2018 World Cup we created content based on each athlete’s unique ‘Believe’ story. For Kylian everything stemmed from a quote - “There’s a number on your back and it’s not your age.”

From a hero film to homage to the iconic Eric Cantona poster created by Simons Palmer Denton Clemmow and Johnson that appeared everywhere from Mbappe's hometown of Bondy, to the Parc des Princes, we celebrated Kylian's story on social and beyond.

The epitome of ‘when you’re good enough, you’re old enough,’ Mbappe lit up the WC and became the second youngest player to score in the final as the hosts added a second star.

From identifying insights to crafting questions, developing the concept and delivering the finished edits I worked across the whole delivery.
